Gardaí appeal for witnesses to Tipperary crash

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a crash which has left a man dead and three others, including two children, in a critical condition in Co Tipperary.

A number of others were injured when two cars collided on the Rosegreen Road between Clonmel and Cashel at around 10pm last night.

One of the cars careered off the road and crashed into a house injuring at least three people - a seven-year-old boy, an elderly woman in her 80s and another woman in her 50s.

All of the injured were taken to South Tipperary General Hospital - one of the critically injured children has since been transferred to Waterford Regional Hospital.

Tipperary Sergeant Jim Lynch is appealing for anyone who has information about the crash to come forward.
