Murder inquiry launched after death of man in Bangor

Police in the North have launched a murder inquiry following the discovery of a man's body at a guesthouse in Co Down, this morning.

Police in the North have launched a murder inquiry following the discovery of a man's body at a guesthouse in Co Down, this morning.

The body was found shortly after 7.30am in Bangor.

The PSNI says it believes the victim was assaulted and stabbed in the early hours of the morning.

A post mortem is due to be carried out this afternoon.
