Mother and baby being laid to rest in Derry today

The mother and baby who were killed in a road crash in Co Donegal earlier this week are being laid to rest in Derry today.

Sixteen-year-old Kerry-Ann Meehan and her three-month-old daughter Naoise died when the car they were travelling in collided with a jeep and trailer near Letterkenny on Monday night.

The child's 18-year-old father was driving the car and remains seriously injured in hospital.

Today's funeral is taking place at St Mary's Church, Creggan, where Kerry-Ann had lived until recently moving to Donegal.
