FG clashes with Cowen over state of economy

Fine Gael has clashed with the Taoiseach, Brian Cowen, during angry exchanges in the Dáil this morning on the state of the Irish economy.

Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny claimed members of the public did not know whether they would be able to pay their mortgages due to the current economic slowdown.
