Minister to meet EU Fish Commissioner

Agriculture Minister Brendan Smith is due to hold talks with the EU Maritime Affairs Commissioner today to discuss problems facing Irish fishermen.

The fishermen recently held protests at ports across the country to highlight what they say is a threat to their livelihoods from rising fuel prices, cheap imports and EU quotas.
