Kenny challenged over knowledge of Lisbon Treaty
The Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny has been challenged over his knowledge of the Lisbon Treaty by No campaigners in Dublin, as tensions rise in the run up to polling day.
Mr Kenny was met by members of the People Before Profit Alliance as he canvassed for a Yes vote in the Rathmines area of Dublin this afternoon.
The group challenged him on his knowledge of specific articles contained in the treaty.
Meanwhile about 150 people turned out on Dublin's O'Connell St. this afternoon to canvass for the Lisbon Treaty Information Campaign.
COIR, which is opposed to the Treaty, says people need to be aware of the serious consequences a Yes vote will have for a small country like Ireland.
