PSNI investigate assault in Antrim

The PSNI are investigating an assault on a man in Co. Antrim.

The 29-year-old was attacked by a group of youths on Wednesday night in Newtownabbey.

He suffered a number of injuries and was treated in hospital.

The PSNI say three men, in their late to mid teens, shouted at the man before attacking him.

They're described as being around 5' 9' in height and were wearing dark clothing, possibly tracksuits.

The Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
