Man dies from injuries sustained in Waterford assault

A 51-year-old man who suffered serious head injuries in an assault in Waterford over the weekend has lost his fight for life at Cork University Hospital.

Michael Corbett, from Barrack Street, was attacked in his home at around 11.30pm on Saturday night.
