Four still in custody after Tipperary firearms seizure
Four men remain in garda custody this morning following a seizure of firearms and ammunition in Tipperary yesterday.
A sawn-off shotgun and a pistol were recovered, along with 30 rounds of ammunition, when GardaĂ searched two men who were seen acting suspiciously near Limerick Junction railway station.
Two men aged 25 and 26 were arrested at the scene.
A 28-year-old man and a man in his 30s were also detained during follow-up searches at a premises in nearby Tipperary town.
