Fine Gael to unveil economic plans
New policy proposals to help hard-pressed taxpayers will be launched by Fine Gael today.
The Opposition party claims its draft initiatives will help reduce inflation and ease the burden on the housing, construction and tourism sectors.
Fine Gael’s finance spokesman Richard Bruton will launch the proposals with energy spokesman Simon Coveney.
“The radical proposal will have immediate benefits for the overall economy,” said a party spokesman.
“It also will help to boost Ireland’s flagging cost competitiveness.”
