Vigil in Dublin for China-quake victims

A group of Irish and Chinese will gather today in Dublin for a candle-lit vigil for the victims and survivors of the recent earthquake in China.

The vigil is taking place in Smithfield Square in the city centre at 7.30 this evening.

Thousands of people have been left homeless and it is feared the death toll could top 80,000.
