Suspect goods seized in Fermanagh
Suspected counterfeit goods worth around £24,000 (€30,154) were today seized at a market in Co Fermanagh.
Clothes, CDs and DVDs were discovered by police during a planned search in the Newtownbutler area.
A PSNI spokesman said although no arrests were made, inquiries were on-going.
“A file will be prepared for the Public Prosecution Service,” he added.
The haul follows the recovery of more than £500,000 (€628,225) worth of fake clothing in Belfast yesterday.
The PSNI said the items, including imitation designer brands, were seized in Dargan Industrial Estate as part of an ongoing operation by the intellectual property crime unit against organised crime.
