Man dies in Kerry caravan fire

A man in his 30s died in a caravan fire today.

The alarm was raised at around 4.30am and emergency services discovered the man’s remains in the mobile home near Sneem, Co Kerry.

A garda spokesman said: “The dead man has not been positively identified. There were no other injuries in the incident

“The scene is being examined by Garda crime scene examiners.”

Gardaí are treating the fire as accidental.
