Two more held in connection with booby-trap bombing
Two further people have been arrested in connection with the attempted murder of an off duty police officer in Co Tyrone, police said today.
A man and a woman were taken into custody by the PSNI last night and are being questioned at Antrim police station.
The officer sustained serious leg injuries when a booby trap bomb exploded in his car in Spamount near Castlederg on Monday.
The attack has been blamed on dissident republicans.
Last night's arrests bring to six the number of people now in custody in connection with the attack after four men were arrested in the Tyrone area on Thursday morning.
