IHCA to consider hospital consultants contracts

The end of the long-running dispute over hospital consultants' contracts will be considered by the national council of the Irish Hospital Consultants Association (IHCA) today.

Recently, 80% of IHCA members have voted to accept the deal.

The new deal will mean consultants working a 37 hour week in the public system, including weekend work.
