Ahern performs last official duties as Taoiseach

Outgoing Taoiseach Bertie Ahern is performing his last official duties as head of government today at a ceremony in Dublin to remember those who died in the 1916 Rising.

Mr Ahern took the salute of a guard of honour made up of 108 members of the Defence Forces on his arrival at Arbour Hill this morning.
