A trial date has been set for Kathleen Mulhall on charges arising from the killing of her boyfriend Fareh Swaleh Noor.

The 54-year-old, with an address at St Mary's Park, Carlow, faces nine charges: that she withheld information, helped clean up a crime scene, five counts of giving false information over Mr Noor's whereabouts, and two counts of pretending she did not know his whereabouts.

Mr Justice Paul Carney set a date of February 16, 2009, for Mulhall’s trial, when the case was called in the Central Criminal Court at Dublin today.

Mulhall's daughters Linda and Charlotte are serving sentences for killing Mr Noor, whose dismembered remains were found in the Royal Canal in Dublin in 2005.

Roisin Lacey, BL, for Mulhall, told Mr Justice Carney, there was still some disclosure outstanding before the case could go on.
