Major traffic disruption expected as taxi drivers protest

Large groups of taxi drivers are expected to congregate at ranks across the country today in a move to highlight their anger at the amount of licences being issued in the industry.

Drivers are being urged to gather at taxi ranks between 9am and 1pm to show the large volume of vehicles currently vying for fares in many parts of the country.
