Cannon to conduct campaign to rebuild PDs

The new leader of the Progressive Democrats, Ciaran Cannon, starts his campaign next week to revitalise the party.

Senator Cannon will hold a series of meetings around the country.

He starts out in Cork on Monday night for discussions with PD councillors.

The fourth leader of the party will then meet councillors, party officers and members, in Dublin on Tuesday.

He also said he wants to hear from people outside of the party and possibly recruit new members.
