Hoax bomb found underneath car in Dublin

Gardaí are investigating the discovery of a hoax bomb underneath a car in the Crumlin area of Dublin last night.

A number of homes in the area were evacuated after the device was found on Kildare Road at around 9pm.

It was later declared to be a hoax by army bomb disposal experts.

The incident came just 24 hours after a pipe bomb exploded outside a house in Crumlin.
