The Government is reportedly set to make more than 200 changes to the proposed Immigration Bill, which has been widely criticised by human rights organisations and other lobby groups.

Reports this morning say one of the amendments will remove a provision whereby anyone from outside the European Economic Area would have had to seek permission from the Justice Minister in order to marry in Ireland.
