€167,000 worth of cocaine found on waste ground in Clare

Gardaí in Co Clare have discovered almost 2.5 kilos of cocaine during a search of waste ground near Newmarket-on-Fergus.

The operation was mounted by local officers and Gardaí from Ennis and Shannon, with the help of a dog unit from Limerick city.
