Inquiry not satisfied Rossiter was assaulted in custody

An inquiry into the arrest and detention of Brian Rossiter, who died after he was found unconscious while in Garda custody, has stated that it is not satisfied the 14-year-old was assaulted by Gardaí.

A summary of the report from the statutory inquiry also finds however that there was a failure on the part of Gardaí to investigate all the circumstances surrounding the schoolboy's death.
