Gardaí in Limerick have recovered 30,000 ecstasy tablets during their ongoing investigations into the gangland feud that has claimed two lives over the past week.

Gardaí in Limerick have recovered 30,000 ecstasy tablets during their ongoing investigations into the gangland feud that has claimed two lives over the past week.

The drugs were found during a search of a field in the O'Malley Park area of the city last night.

Gardaí say the tablets had a street value of €300,000.

Further searches are expected to be carried out in the area today.
