SIPTU shop stewards at Aer Lingus are meeting today to discuss the rejection of the airline's cost-cutting plan by the 1,800 ground staff.

The workers, including check-in, loading and catering staff, voted by a three-to-one margin earlier this week to reject changes to their work practices aimed at saving Aer Lingus €10m.
