Shots fired at house in Limerick’s St Mary’s Park
Gardaí in Limerick are investigating a gun attack on house in the St Mary's Park area of the city early this morning.
Two shots are believed to have been fired at the house just after 6am, but nobody was injured.
Meanwhile, gardaí are also investigating the discovery of heroin, cocaine and a firearm in the same area yesterday morning.
Around €92,000 worth of heroin and €7,000 worth of cocaine was found buried on waste ground at the rear of a house on St Ita's Street.
A sawn-off rifle and a quantity of ammunition were also discovered.
No arrests were made, but gardaí say they are following a definite line of inquiry.
