HSE to review possible cancer misdiagnosis cases

The HSE has confirmed that it is to review a small number of cases after reports of possible cancer misdiagnosis in the north east.

In a statement released today, the HSE said that media comment on the issue had been exaggerated and speculative, and was likely to cause unnecessary anxiety for some patients and their families.
