Two teens critically ill after Galway crash
Two teenage girls remain in a critical condition in hospital this morning following the crash that claimed the lives of two other girls in Co Galway yesterday afternoon.
Two more people were seriously hurt in the accident, while another person suffered less serious injuries.
All seven were travelling in a people-carrier that was part of a convoy taking an all-female group to an adventure centre at Killary Harbour in Connemara.
The trip was organised by the Islamic Cultural Centre in Dublin.
The people-carrier is understood to have collided with a traffic island just outside Kilrickle before leaving the road and crashing into a pole.
