Fine Gael look to 1916 law over Taoiseach's donations

Fine Gael is seeking information on a law which dates back to 1916 to see if the Taoiseach has acted illegally by accepting political donations for personal use.

This comes as a Junior Government Minister admits the controversy over Bertie Ahern's appearances before the Mahon Tribunal is damaging Fianna Fáil.
