The case of a 16-year-old boy arrested for holding up a shop while armed with an imitation handgun is too serious to be heard in the Children’s Court, a judge has held.

The north Dublin teenager had been charged at the Children’s Court with the robbery of the Stop and Shop, at Willow Park Crescent in Finglas, on September 21 last.
