Gun crime high on agenda at AGSI annual conference

Gangland crime and the increasing use of firearms by criminals will be high on the agenda at the annual conference of the Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors this week.

Delegates are due to hear details of proposed armed Regional Response Units, staffed by uniformed officers, which could respond quickly to incidents involving guns.
