Two in custody after Dublin city centre firearms incident

Two men in their 30s are being held by gardaí, following what they are describing as a "firearms incident" in Dublin city centre this afternoon.

The men were arrested on O'Connell Bridge at around 2pm.

They are being held at Store Street garda station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
