Teenager questioned over St Stephen's Day killing

A 17-year-old youth has been arrested by Gardaí investigating the death of a man in Co Louth late last year.

Darren McKeown, 29, died in hospital from injuries sustained after being attacked by a group of people at Rowan Heights in Drogheda in the early hours of St. Stephen's Day.

The teenager arrested this afternoon was taken for questioning to Drogheda garda station.

He is the eighth person to have been detained in connection with the incident.
