Child injured as schoolbus crashes in Tyrone
A school was at the centre of a bus crash for the second time in a fortnight in the North today.
Pupils were on their way to St Ciaran's High School in Ballygawley, Co Tyrone, when their bus was involved in a collision.
The collision at Favour Royal, Augher involved a van and a Jeep.
Sixteen children were on the bus at the time. The ambulance service said one child was taken to Craigavon Area Hospital with neck pains.
The others were unhurt, but were left deeply traumatised, a spokesman said.
A pupil from the same school was killed in a bus crash less than a fortnight ago.
Nicola Mallon, 16, was in a bus which was hit by a lorry on the main Dungannon to Ballygawley Road.
