Three rescued in Strangford Lough

Three young people have been rescued from Strangford Lough in Co Down.

Three young people have been rescued from Strangford Lough in Co Down.

They got into difficulty when their dingy capsized in rough sea conditions.

They managed to swim to Rainey Island where they used a mobile phone to contact the Belfast Coast Guard.

The Portaferry RNLI rescued the three men around twenty minutes later.

None of them suffered any injuries.
