A jury has been discharged after failing to agree on 22 outstanding charges in the trial of a Cork man convicted of raping his two sisters 30 years ago.

A jury has been discharged after failing to agree on 22 outstanding charges in the trial of a Cork man convicted of raping his two sisters 30 years ago.

The jury found him guilty yesterday following nine hours and 30 minutes deliberations on four charges - one each of rape and of indecent assault of each sister in County Cork on a date in 1971-1972.
