130 jobs to go at Dublin printing firm
A Dublin printing plant is to close with the loss of 130 jobs.
It was confirmed this afternoon that Microprint in Tallaght will close its doors for the last time in four weeks.
The company has blamed the decision on costs, competition, uncertainty over key contracts and a decline in the number of computer manual customers.
The company said it had been making heavy losses which it could no longer sustain.
Microrprint was set up in 1987 and is best known for printing magazines such as the RTÉ Guide and Woman's Way.
