Hundreds gather for funeral of Castletownbere sea-plunge victim

One of the three young men killed in a car accident in west Cork over the weekend was laid to rest today.

Twenty-one-year-old Colm Harrington died on Saturday morning along with his two friends 17-year-old Fintan O'Driscoll and 20-year-old Shane Kelly when their car plunged into the water outside Castletownbere.

Hundreds of people gathered for his funeral ceremony this afternoon at St Michael's Church in Bere Island.
