Garda still in serious condition after Dublin crash

A 27-year-old garda remains in a serious condition in hospital this morning following yesterday's head-on road crash on the Naas Road in west Dublin.

The garda was driving home to Naas following work at Tallaght garda station when his vehicle collided with another car travelling in the wrong direction down the southbound section of the dual carriageway.
