SIPTU is accusing the Irish Hotels Federation, which is holding its annual conference in Killkenny, of supporting the exploitation of hotel workers.

SIPTU says the Employment Rights Authority has identified serious breaches in workers entitlements in 58% of hotels inspected.

SIPTU spokesperson Christy McQuillan says hotels continue to enjoy huge profits but fail to reward their employees.
