Ahern expresses condolences over Dublin murders
Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has expressed condolences to the Polish prime minister following the murder of two Polish nationals in Dublin.
Mr Ahern, who is on an official visit to Poland, told Donald Tusk today that the people of Ireland were shocked and saddened to hear of the violent attack in Drimnagh over the weekend.
He also extended his sympathies to the families and friends of Marius Szwajkos and Pawel Kalita.
Meanwhile, speaking in the Dáil this morning, Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny said the deaths of the two men "shames us all".
