Nine-year-old girl still critical after Tyrone crash
A nine-year-old girl is still fighting for her life after the school bus crash that claimed the life of her teenage cousin in Co Tyrone yesterday.
Gráinne Mallon is being treated in Belfast's Royal Hospital for head injuries she sustained in the collision between the bus and a lorry near Dungannon.
Her family is keeping a bedside vigil.
Gráinne's 16-year-old cousin, Nicola Murray, died in hospital yesterday after the crash.
The single-carriageway road where the crash happened is a notorious blackspot and there are plans to upgrade it, but that will take several years.
