Gardaí in Dublin have arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with a fatal shooting in the Finglas area of the city last year.

The man was detained in Finglas this morning in connection with the murder of 27-year-old Kevin Ledwidge.

Mr Ledwidge was shot dead at his home on Ratoath Drive last July.

The killing is believed to have been linked to a personal feud he was involved in with local criminals.

Today's arrest is the third made in connection with the investigation, but nobody has been charged with any offence.
