Mayo gardaí probe fire at construction site

Gardaí in Co Mayo are investigating a fire at a construction site last night.

The blaze broke out shortly before 9pm at Ballygelly, south Glenamoy.

The fire caused damage to fencing and plastic piping. It is understood the site is near the Corrib gas terminal.

The scene has been sealed off, and a technical examination will be carried out later today.
