Average worker spends 2.5 hours commuting every day

Irish workers spend an average of almost two-and-a-half hours commuting every day, according to the convenience store Centra.

The company says commuting times have increased by 16% over the past five years and the average commuter now spends 23 days every year travelling to and from work.
