The Deputy State Pathologist Dr Michael Curtis has carried out a preliminary examination of the scene near Killaloe in Co Clare where a badly decomposed body was found yesterday.

The Deputy State Pathologist Dr Michael Curtis has carried out a preliminary examination of the scene near Killaloe in Co Clare where a badly decomposed body was found yesterday.

Dr Curtis has now left the scene and the body has been removed to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital in Limerick where a full post mortem examination is underway.
