O'Searcaigh poetry may be removed from Leaving Cert syllabus

The Education Minister says the inclusion of poems by Cathal O Searcaigh in the Leaving Certificate will be addressed by the National Council on Curriculum Assessment.

Mary Hanafin says the fact that students have to write about the poet's life, as well as his work, could cause some problems.
