Post mortem to be carried out on body found near Bray

A post mortem examination is due to take place today on human remains discovered yesterday near Bray Head in Co Wicklow.

The body was discovered in thick undergrowth yesterday afternoon by a passer-by.

Gardaí are investigating the possibility that it may be that of an elderly woman who has been missing from a nursing home in Bray for the past two years.

Seventy-eight-year-old Maura Reynolds disappeared from the home on Christmas Day in 2005.
