Man arrested in connection with rape in the North

Police in the North have arrested a 20-year-old man in connection with an alleged sexual assault on a 14-year-old girl.

The incident is believed to have happened at Lanyon Place in south Belfast at about eight o' clock last night.

Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and who saw anything suspicious to come forward.
