Girl 14, victim of serious sexual assault in the North

Police in the North are investigating an allegation of serious sexual assault on a 14-year-old girl last night.

The incident is believed to have happened at Lanyon Place in south Belfast at 8pm.

Police have said they are following a definite line of inquiry but are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
